DIY Tip of the Week

Many times, we are faced with the dilemma of not being able to be in two places at once. Now, imagine this happens while you are in the middle of painting your house. Scene: you have just opened and mixed your Medal Paints High Gloss Enamel, your brush is wet and you have already started smearing paint all over your living room wall. Then suddenly you hear a loud CRASH, a high pitch SCREAM and your 3 year old runs passed you with a peculiar smile on his face...what do you do?

My DIY tip of the week is this - if you are painting walls/ceilings inside or outside and you suddenly get distracted or have to deal with phone calls or the washing or demanding children and you're not sure how quickly you're going to be able to get back to your painting, don't worry to clean the brush out, just pop it in a plastic bag and put it in the fridge for a while. Hopefully you get back to your painting task before you forget that there's a paintbrush in the fridge!!!
